When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

After 81 minutes, Job Daverveld mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Maegic EFC and the FC duindorp players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of FC duindorp booed when Maegic EFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Job Daverveld didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Miroslav Celevski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 90 minutes into the match, Maegic EFC's goal looked a bit too open when Alex Roordink came free, but Daniele Di Sante reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Maegic EFC's Daniele Di Sante played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alex Roordink in the 92nd minute of play. FC duindorp's Henk Gierman got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
