Rein Meder received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Coos Janssens tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lex Doren took the ball and in the 7 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Coos Janssens. Coos Janssens dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Arne de Groot took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 11th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Coos Janssens. Wissenkerke's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Coos Janssens showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rein Meder in the 12th minute of the match. Arne van Zalen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ronald Stolte, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Rein Meder managed to get in a good position for a shot. Wezep FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Rein Meder was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Coos Janssens breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Lukas Sandbergen came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Wissenkerke fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lukas Sandbergen couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, Wezep FC's Arne van Zalen got control of the ball when Tomas Rekers tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ronald Stolte hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. In the 36th minute of the match Daniël Hostede sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Coos Janssens skillfully saved the ball. If Tomas Rekers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ronald Stolte struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Arne van Zalen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Wissenkerke. Wissenkerke's Coos Janssens played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elco Salens in the 46th minute of play. In the 47th match minute, Wissenkerke was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabian Kleine to maneuver through the defense. Coos Janssens made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rein Meder in the 48th minute of play. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ronald Stolte made a kick off. Arne van Zalen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Rekers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ronald Stolte in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arne van Zalen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tomas Rekers might have been able to make a better finish in the 60th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Arne van Zalen. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tomas Rekers ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of Wissenkerke booed when Wezep FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elco Salens didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gerrit Diggele, 64 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Tomas Rekers sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arne van Zalen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ronald Stolte, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. 70 minutes into the match, Wezep FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ronald Stolte came free, but Arne van Zalen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ronald Stolte scored 2-1 in the 70th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Arne van Zalen, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Arne van Zalen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Rekers in the 74th minute of the match. After 76 played minutes Wissenkerke got a freekick which was hit by Fabian Kleine. If Rein Meder had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Egbert van de Meerakker blasted a shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Coos Janssens having to make a save. Tomas Rekers sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Wissenkerke's Ronald Stolte in the 95th minute got a chance for a shot 95th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The Wissenkerke fans cheered their team off the field, for while Wezep FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
