After 7 minutes, Marick Rogaars made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. VVR Roermond's Hendrik Wilhelm tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 10thth minute of the game Marick Rogaars who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but VVR Roermond's Hendrik Wilhelm was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Timo Geerts received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Hendrik Wilhelm tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marick Rogaars struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Hendrik Wilhelm didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ciao Bellas. When the match had gone on for 20 minutes, Marick Rogaars put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Hendrik Wilhelm. With a little luck, Ciao Bellas's Brain van Rhijn got control of the ball when Abraham Bemmel tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 24th minute, Marick Rogaars made a precise shot to the right of Hendrik Wilhelm. VVR Roermond's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Brain van Rhijn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Co Wijker, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. In a very dangerous position, a player in VVR Roermond fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 39th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Ciao Bellas a penalty, 42 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Cosmin Neaga, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of VVR Roermond's Hendrik Wilhelm. 0-4. After the first half Ciao Bellas were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Abraham Bemmel to make the kick off. Caio Neves might have been able to make a better finish in the 50th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hendrik Wilhelm. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Caio Neves ran back to his position shaking his head. 51 minutes into the match, VVR Roermond's goalkeeper Hendrik Wilhelm had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ettore Di Felice. 56 minutes into the match, Ciao Bellas's goal looked a bit too open when Abraham Bemmel came free, but Brain van Rhijn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marick Rogaars's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 57thth minute, Hendrik Wilhelm skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 63rd minute, Geale Kruijs reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Hendrik Wilhelm. The goal made the score 0-5. When Marick Rogaars came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Ciao Bellas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marick Rogaars couldn't finish the play. Hendrik Wilhelm made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marick Rogaars in the 71st minute of play. After 73 minutes of play, Ciao Bellas's Marick Rogaars made it 0-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hendrik Wilhelm was left in no man's land by his defense there! Hans Bok sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 86 minutes into the game, Geale Kruijs cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-7. Hendrik Wilhelm was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With his leg Hendrik Wilhelm managed to avoid a goal in the 91stth minute, when Ciao Bellas's Marick Rogaars fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Ciao Bellas's Marick Rogaars got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Marick Rogaars might have been able to make a better finish in the 96th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hendrik Wilhelm. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marick Rogaars ran back to his position shaking his head. When the final whistle sounded Ciao Bellas left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than VVR Roermond.
