Jaap Hoogsteen didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Victor Heide went, in the 7th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Victor Heide could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Jaap Hoogsteen made a huge save. In the 13th minute Gigi Cristocea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jaap Hoogsteen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Terhorne's Coos Bronkhorst got a free kick in the 14th minute. In the 15th minute, Victor Heide left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bradboys fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. After a defensive mix-up in Terhorne's zone, Victor Heide stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jaap Hoogsteen came out of the goal and Victor Heide tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mark Ravenbergen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dennis Zuidema having to interfere. In the 38th minute, Sipke Kleine fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Jaap Hoogsteen, passed just outside the right post. Jaap Hoogsteen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gigi Cristocea, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Victor Heide got free with Jaap Hoogsteen in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Victor Heide fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jaap Hoogsteen having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Giel Kleine managed to get in a good position for a shot. Terhorne's supporters rose to their feet, but Giel Kleine was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dennis Zuidema breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Riemer Klerk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dennis Zuidema having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mark Ravenbergen stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jaap Hoogsteen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gigi Cristocea, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. 64 minutes into the match, Terhorne's goal looked a bit too open when Victor Heide came free, but Jaap Hoogsteen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jaap Hoogsteen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sipke Kleine in the 67th minute of the match. In the 73rd minute, Daniel Nieuwendijk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 75th minute, Marcel Tellingen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Gigi Cristocea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Terhorne getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Coos Bronkhorst hit a great ball. Jaap Hoogsteen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gigi Cristocea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 97 minutes into the match, Terhorne's goal looked a bit too open when Gigi Cristocea came free, but Jaap Hoogsteen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Bradboys had won after a very even match.
