Carsten Buckinx hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Egede defense, Karsten van Zeggeren kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Brain Cales. The Egede fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Brain Cales should have stopped the shot. Mart Bok made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dries Rodenboog in the 8th minute of play. In the 10thth minute of the game Karsten van Zeggeren who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Egede's Brain Cales was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 12th match minute, Egede was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teun Mol to maneuver through the defense. Domenik Popping took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Brain Cales. Brain Cales dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. In the 21st minute, Karsten van Zeggeren got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 22 minutes, Wilfred Spoel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Egede and the Zwanegat players grew even worse after the yellow card. Wilfred Spoel kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Egede's Brain Cales proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Egede from getting a goal against them. When Zwanegat's Domenik Popping, in the 25th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Zwanegat. 27 minutes into the game, Dries Rodenboog was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Egede's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Zwanegat the free kick. A collision led to Egede getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Dries Rodenboog hit a great ball. Karsten van Zeggeren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brain Cales having to interfere. Domenik Popping's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 32ndth minute, Brain Cales skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. If Ivo Pronk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 35 minutes into the match, Egede's goalkeeper Brain Cales had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Domenik Popping. Brain Cales showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karsten van Zeggeren, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. With a little luck, Egede's Brain Cales got control of the ball when Domenik Popping tried to sneak it across the goal line. Brain Cales made an important save on a dangerous shot by Domenik Popping in the 40th minute. After 42 minutes, Hette Molnar made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. Egede's Brain Cales tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Hette Molnar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brain Cales having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dimitrie Niemeyer made a kick off. In the 51st minute Domenik Popping shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brain Cales saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Egede's zone, Domenik Popping stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Brain Cales came out of the goal and Domenik Popping tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Brain Cales took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karsten van Zeggeren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Zwanegat booed when Egede was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teun Mol didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 56th minute Hette Molnar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brain Cales saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Karsten van Zeggeren's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Brain Cales was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. 60 minutes into the match, Zwanegat's goalkeeper Mart Bok had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jaap Bemmel. After a defensive mix-up in Egede's zone, Domenik Popping stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Brain Cales came out of the goal and Domenik Popping tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Egede's Brain Cales played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karsten van Zeggeren in the 65th minute of play. 66 minutes into the match, Domenik Popping notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Egede's Brain Cales. Brain Cales was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 69 minutes into the match, Egede's goal looked a bit too open when Domenik Popping came free, but Brain Cales reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zwanegat's Ivo Pronk got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hette Molnar took the ball and in the 84 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Brain Cales. Brain Cales dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ivo Pronk in the 89th minute of play forced Egede's goalkeeper Brain Cales to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Karsten van Zeggeren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Domenik Popping fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brain Cales having to interfere. Dries Rodenboog was shown his second yellow card after 94 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 95 played minutes Egede got a freekick which was hit by Dries Rodenboog. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Zwanegat fully deserved thier win.
