Levi Schaap fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Geert Meerdink having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Paul Alferink managed to get in a good position for a shot. ASC South United's supporters rose to their feet, but Paul Alferink was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cobus Opdam breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Paul Alferink struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Cobus Opdam didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ASC South United. Dirk Jan de Lange hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched ASC South United eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
