Seating: 1849, VIP seats: 50) Dirk Roeles started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Koen Stam received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Matthijs Blaauwgeers tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gert Jan Wit kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. With his leg Matthijs Blaauwgeers managed to avoid a goal in the 12thth minute, when Wullenhoven's Dirk Roeles fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Koen Stam had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Joop van Nieuwstadt kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Koen Stam sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dirk Roeles got free with Matthijs Blaauwgeers in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 31st play minute Koen Stam came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Matthijs Blaauwgeers. 1-0. After 39 played minutes Dwingelo got a freekick which was hit by Hendrik van Rhijn. A hard shot by Arno Fransen from long distance, 44 minutes into the match, got Matthijs Blaauwgeers's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mart Hagenouw was the one to do the kick off. Hendrik van Rhijn kicked well hit freekick during the 50th minute of the match. Matthijs Blaauwgeers came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by Wullenhoven's Dirk Roeles. But to his dismay, Dirk Roeles quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Koen Stam fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matthijs Blaauwgeers having to interfere. Matthijs Blaauwgeers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Koen Stam in the 60th minute of play. With an all-out effort, Dwingelo's Dave van Zomeren threw himself towards the right post 63 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Olof Haremeijer, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. If Koen Stam had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Wullenhoven's Geert Haremeijer got a free kick in the 74th minute. In the 77th minute, Koen Stam got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 83 minutes into the game, Kees Bosman was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Wullenhoven's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Dwingelo the free kick. The supporters of Dwingelo booed when Wullenhoven was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kees Bosman didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Koen Stam came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Wullenhoven fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Koen Stam couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dirk Roeles in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Matthijs Blaauwgeers prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Wullenhoven booed when Dwingelo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hendrik van Rhijn didn't get a good kick on the ball.
