After 7 played minutes AFC Bal op het Dark got a freekick which was hit by Ricky Heijer. Auke Boeringe made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Feliks Prosowski sent off a good shot on target. Vladimír Ondroušek stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jurgen Heuvel's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. In the 16th minute, AFC Bal op het Dark's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Dick Ooijer fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. If Federico Abechuco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 26th match minute, AFC Bal op het Dark was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stefano Bont to maneuver through the defense. 33 minutes into the game, Anthony Mulders cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Auke Boeringe was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 39th minute, Federico Abechuco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jurgen Heuvel in the 41st minute of play forced FC Titmouse's goalkeeper Vladimír Ondroušek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 43 minutes, Anthony Mulders managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Titmouse's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anthony Mulders was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Herman Braamhaar hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jurgen Heuvel to make the kick off. 55 minutes into the match, FC Titmouse's Feliks Prosowski sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Auke Boeringe narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Federico Abechuco kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. After 58 played minutes FC Titmouse got a freekick which was hit by Dick Ooijer. In the 60th minute, Jurgen Heuvel left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AFC Bal op het Dark fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. If Feliks Prosowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When AFC Bal op het Dark's Jurgen Heuvel in the 71st minute got a chance for a shot 71st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 85th match minute, FC Titmouse was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Federico Abechuco to maneuver through the defense. After 88 minutes, Maurits Wermans mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Titmouse and the AFC Bal op het Dark players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, FC Titmouse's Maurits Wermans got a free kick in the 88th minute. Anthony Mulders might have been able to make a better finish in the 96th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Auke Boeringe. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Anthony Mulders ran back to his position shaking his head. FC Titmouse walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
