In the 3rd minute Daniël Middeljans shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olo Marcos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Johannes Holt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Harm Kleinman in the 15th minute of play. In the 18th minute Ainis Naudzuns shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Johannes Holt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 20 minutes into the game, Fatih-Sultan Mehmet recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Johannes Holt. Fatih-Sultan Mehmet showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. In the 24th minute Ainis Naudzuns shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Johannes Holt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Johannes Holt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ainis Naudzuns, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Johannes Holt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ainis Naudzuns in the 34th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Bergeikers's Franco Scutti got a free kick in the 35th minute. In the 37th match minute, Bergeikers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sebastiaan Molhoek to maneuver through the defense. In the 38th match minute, Bergeikers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dirk-Jan Mathijsen to maneuver through the defense. 47 minutes into the game, Harm Kleinman recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Johannes Holt. Harm Kleinman showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ronald Bult to strike the kick off in the second half. The Bergeikers fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. In the 55th minute, Domwier Excelsior's Ronald Bult ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Olo Marcos. Olo Marcos yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-1. After a defensive mix-up in Bergeikers's zone, Carlo Dagelet stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Olo Marcos came out of the goal and Carlo Dagelet tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Laurens Hoving fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Domwier Excelsior's protests and gave Laurens Hoving a yellow card for diving instead. After 60 played minutes Domwier Excelsior got a freekick which was hit by Laurens Hoving. Daniël Middeljans who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 63rdth minute tested the skills of Olo Marcos when he managed to save the team from getting behind. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Carlo Dagelet in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Olo Marcos saved Bergeikers from getting behind. Laurens Hoving recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Bergeikers's Olo Marcos got control of the ball when Martien Bronkhorst tried to sneak it across the goal line. Domwier Excelsior's Johannes Holt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fatih-Sultan Mehmet in the 71st minute of play. In the 74th match minute, Bergeikers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dirk-Jan Mathijsen to maneuver through the defense. 78 minutes into the match, Harm Kleinman notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Domwier Excelsior's Johannes Holt. Johannes Holt was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 81 minutes into the match, Bergeikers's goal looked a bit too open when Ronald Bult came free, but Olo Marcos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Olo Marcos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ronald Bult's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. Domwier Excelsior were awarded a corner in the 83th minute after Bergeikers's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Carlo Dagelet took the corner. Martien Bronkhorst's late challenge caught a Bergeikers's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Martien Bronkhorst helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Domwier Excelsior getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Daniël Middeljans hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Harm Kleinman in the 96th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Johannes Holt prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Bergeikers's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
