Reinhard van Kempen kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Ate Bruintjes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robert-Jan Schild in the 25th minute of the match. Reinhard van Kempen charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Reinhard van Kempen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Gio Ubels showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elbert Greef in the 29th minute of the match. After having played for 31 minutes, Giel Fikkers managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Harmole HC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Giel Fikkers was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Robert-Jan Schild in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ate Bruintjes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Hoetmansmeer's zone, Robert-Jan Schild stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ate Bruintjes came out of the goal and Robert-Jan Schild tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 44th minute, Sander Schaeffer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Peter Dijkstra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Robert-Jan Schild made a kick off. 58 minutes had been played when some careless play by Harmole HC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Sander Schaeffer was slow to take the kick. During this time Hoetmansmeer's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Hoetmansmeer's corner Sander Schaeffer fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Gio Ubels quite easily take care of the ball. Arie Okkes charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Arie Okkes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Harmole HC getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Arie Okkes hit a great ball. Ralph Cremers received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Ate Bruintjes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 65 played minutes Hoetmansmeer got a freekick which was hit by Elbert Greef. The supporters of Harmole HC booed when Hoetmansmeer was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tim Zegers didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 69th minute the ball was on its way in behind Hoetmansmeer's goalkeeper Ate Bruintjes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a little luck, Hoetmansmeer's Ate Bruintjes got control of the ball when Sven van Putten tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 71st minute, Peter Dijkstra got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Harmole HC getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Arie Okkes hit a great ball. Ate Bruintjes was a little too slow when Giel Fikkers got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 75th minute. The score was now 0-3. Wouter van Zeijl sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ate Bruintjes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Giel Fikkers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 84 minutes into the match, Harmole HC's Robert-Jan Schild sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ate Bruintjes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a little luck, Hoetmansmeer's Ate Bruintjes got control of the ball when Martijn Waterreus tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Giel Fikkers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Elbert Greef fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hoetmansmeer's protests and gave Elbert Greef a yellow card for diving instead.
