After a rather tough play, vv Hefswal's Klaas Smit got a free kick in the 29th minute. Matthijs Jorna showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robbie van der Werff, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. If Robbie van der Werff had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

vv Hefswal's Klaas Smit got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Klaas Smit kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Iwan Schalken. That made the score 0-1 in the 53 minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Klaas Smit in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Iwan Schalken saved Nebula FC from getting behind. Ralph Bogarde recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of vv Hefswal booed when Nebula FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daan Andriessen didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 74 minutes, Florian Roodenburg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the vv Hefswal and the Nebula FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, vv Hefswal's Florian Roodenburg got a free kick in the 74th minute. The audience was convinced that Klaas Smit's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Iwan Schalken was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. In the 78th minute, vv Hefswal's Klaas Smit dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-2. Iwan Schalken showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Klaas Smit in the 81st minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Klaas Smit in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Iwan Schalken saved Nebula FC from getting behind. After 83 played minutes Nebula FC got a freekick which was hit by Bennie Rooze. In the 85th match minute, vv Hefswal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stefano van Putten to maneuver through the defense. 88 minutes had been played when some careless play by vv Hefswal's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Wessel Genkenaar was slow to take the kick. During this time Nebula FC's players had a chance to rest. After 89 minutes, Daniel Douwes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the vv Hefswal and the Nebula FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. When Ralph Bogarde came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Nebula FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ralph Bogarde couldn't finish the play. The Nebula FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching vv Hefswal's performance. The match ended with a win for vv Hefswal.
