Seating: 1829, VIP seats: 158) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Joris Roelofs started the match with the kick off. Denny Moorlag fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ragnar Almqvist having to interfere. Alexander Hartogh hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Jan Buckinx received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Vincent Schaap tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marc Plagge received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 39 minutes into the match, Ramele's goal looked a bit too open when Denny Moorlag came free, but Ragnar Almqvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 45th minute Joris Roelofs shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vincent Schaap saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marc Plagge sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
An unexpectedly hard shot by Marc Plagge in the 51st minute of play forced Griet's goalkeeper Vincent Schaap to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Joris Roelofs recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Marc Plagge might have been able to make a better finish in the 59th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vincent Schaap. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marc Plagge ran back to his position shaking his head. If Joris Roelofs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Marc Plagge received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Vincent Schaap tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vincent Schaap made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joris Roelofs in the 81st minute of play. 85 minutes into the match, Griet's goal looked a bit too open when Marc Plagge came free, but Vincent Schaap reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 89 minutes into the match, Joris Roelofs had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vincent Schaap. Griet's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Joris Roelofs was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Marc Plagge received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Vincent Schaap tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Joris Roelofs fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vincent Schaap having to interfere. Ramele's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
