Spectators: 7944 (Terracing: 5959, Seating: 1827, VIP seats: 158) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Roger Enzing got the match started through his kick off. In the 3rd minute, Mirko Weken ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Martijn Geerts was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in Sporting Skoekeloen's zone, Robbie Meurs stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Martijn Geerts came out of the goal and Robbie Meurs tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Martijn Geerts stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luc Okkes's shot from short distance in the 8th minute. 12 minutes into the match, Roger Enzing had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vincent Schaap. Griet's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Roger Enzing was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. In the 15th minute, Roger Enzing got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Martijn Geerts made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Denny Moorlag in the 17th minute of play. In the 18th minute Luc Okkes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Martijn Geerts saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With his leg Vincent Schaap managed to avoid a goal in the 29thth minute, when Sporting Skoekeloen's Roger Enzing fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The supporters of Sporting Skoekeloen booed when Griet was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Robbie Meurs didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 31st minute, Remond Luikens reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Vincent Schaap. The goal made the score 3-1. Vincent Schaap made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jacobus Hanekamp in the 38th minute of play. The supporters of Sporting Skoekeloen booed when Griet was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mirko Weken didn't get a good kick on the ball. Robbie Meurs's late challenge caught a Sporting Skoekeloen's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Robbie Meurs helped the player get up and apologised. In the 47th match minute, Griet was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Robbie Meurs to maneuver through the defense. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Luc Okkes made the kick off in the second half. Vincent Schaap showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jacobus Hanekamp, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Martijn Geerts showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luc Okkes in the 54th minute of the match. Griet's attack was well implemented in the 56th minute, but when Luc Okkes was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. 57 minutes into the match, Denny Moorlag dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Martijn Geerts, 3-2. A hard shot by Ate Hertog from long distance, 60 minutes into the match, got Martijn Geerts's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 63rd minute of the match Jorn Ponk shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Vincent Schaap showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roger Enzing in the 64th minute of play forced Griet's goalkeeper Vincent Schaap to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vincent Schaap made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roger Enzing in the 72nd minute of play. Roger Enzing struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Vincent Schaap didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sporting Skoekeloen. Roger Enzing took the ball and in the 79 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vincent Schaap. Vincent Schaap dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-2. Vincent Schaap showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roger Enzing in the 86th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Coenraad Bult in the 87th minute of play forced Griet's goalkeeper Vincent Schaap to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vincent Schaap made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roger Enzing in the 88th minute of play. 90 minutes into the game, Roger Enzing cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-2. Vincent Schaap was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Denny Moorlag got free with Martijn Geerts in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 96th minute Luc Okkes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Martijn Geerts saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. There was no doubt that Sporting Skoekeloen were the better team. Sporting Skoekeloen's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
