After 4 played minutes Eindhoven Sport Club got a freekick which was hit by Oscar de Graaf. Ger Fens recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ronald Baaijen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Douwes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Eindhoven Sport Club booed when vv Hefswal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Geert Arend Rijaard didn't get a good kick on the ball. Florian Roodenburg's late challenge caught a Eindhoven Sport Club's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Florian Roodenburg helped the player get up and apologised. If Charles-Emmanuel Lestienne had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Florian Roodenburg was shown his second yellow card after 18 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Florian Roodenburg kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 22 minutes, Charles-Emmanuel Lestienne put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Matthijs Jorna. Igor Ixidor who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 28thth minute tested the skills of Matthijs Jorna when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 30 minutes, Charles-Emmanuel Lestienne made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. vv Hefswal's Matthijs Jorna tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Klaas Smit kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. The supporters of vv Hefswal booed when Eindhoven Sport Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oscar de Graaf didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ger Fens took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 43rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ronald Baaijen. Eindhoven Sport Club's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When Charles-Emmanuel Lestienne came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Eindhoven Sport Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Charles-Emmanuel Lestienne couldn't finish the play. Matthijs Jorna showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Charles-Emmanuel Lestienne in the 46th minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Nigel Hohenstein fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matthijs Jorna having to interfere. Reinhard von Wangenheim kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. After 61 played minutes vv Hefswal got a freekick which was hit by Klaas Smit. In the 63rd minute, Igor Ixidor ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Matthijs Jorna was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. Matthijs Jorna didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Eindhoven Sport Club's Igor Ixidor shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 6-0 in the ordered_time% minute. After 75 minutes, Klaas Smit mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the vv Hefswal and the Eindhoven Sport Club players grew even worse after the yellow card. Klaas Smit hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. The Eindhoven Sport Club fans' excitement grew in the 79th match minute when Eindhoven Sport Club's Igor Ixidor looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 7-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 82 played minutes Eindhoven Sport Club got a freekick which was hit by Jan Hendrik Roswinkel. Matthijs Jorna came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by Eindhoven Sport Club's Charles-Emmanuel Lestienne. But to his dismay, Charles-Emmanuel Lestienne quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-0. Nigel Hohenstein received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Matthijs Jorna tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Eindhoven Sport Club fully deserved thier win.
