In the 11th minute David Anker shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robin Van Peel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bram Danielss short, quick shot in the 14thth minute got Robin Van Peel to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 15th minute Meindert Stühling shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robin Van Peel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Robin Van Peel was a little too slow when Bram Daniels got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 20th minute. The score was now 1-0. Gerwin Pinksteren recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Robin Van Peel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bram Daniels, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gerwin Pinksteren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Robin Van Peel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 30th minute, Bram Daniels left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The DE JONGE TIJGERS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. When Meindert Stühling came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the DE JONGE TIJGERS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Meindert Stühling couldn't finish the play. Robin Van Peel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Meindert Stühling in the 35th minute of play. If Bram Daniels had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. FC Derks's Robin Van Peel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bram Middel in the 37th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Klaas Sybering during the 38th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of DE JONGE TIJGERS booed when FC Derks was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Klaas Sybering didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bram Daniels recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Robin Van Peel was out of position in the 41 minute of play, and Bram Middel capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Bram Middel really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. Nico-Jan Mülder sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Robin Van Peel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Meindert Stühling in the 47th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Meindert Stühling made a kick off. In the 54th minute Bram Daniels shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robin Van Peel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Klaas Sybering got his second yellow card in the match during the 55th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Klaas Sybering kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. FC Derks's Robin Van Peel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gerwin Pinksteren in the 58th minute of play. Robin Van Peel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Meindert Stühling's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. Nico-Jan Mülder charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nico-Jan Mülder the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to FC Derks getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Nico-Jan Mülder hit a great ball. Robin Van Peel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Meindert Stühling in the 74th minute of play. Robin Van Peel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gerwin Pinksteren, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bram Daniels in the 82nd minute of play forced FC Derks's goalkeeper Robin Van Peel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 83 minutes, Gertjan Baatenburg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Derks and the DE JONGE TIJGERS players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 83rd match minute, FC Derks was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gertjan Baatenburg to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bram Daniels in the 85th minute of play forced FC Derks's goalkeeper Robin Van Peel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Meindert Stühling received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Robin Van Peel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. David Anker fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robin Van Peel having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bram Daniels in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Robin Van Peel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 94 minutes into the match, FC Derks's goal looked a bit too open when Meindert Stühling came free, but Robin Van Peel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in FC Derks's zone, Gerwin Pinksteren stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Robin Van Peel came out of the goal and Gerwin Pinksteren tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. DE JONGE TIJGERS fully deserved thier win.
