The Keinseman VV fans' excitement grew in the 37th match minute when Keinseman VV's Lex Onrust looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 42 minutes of play, Keinseman VV's Dennis Robbermond made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jimmy Britton was left in no man's land by his defense there! Through an outstanding action, after 45 minutes, Jimmy Britton successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Dennis Robbermond could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Jimmy Britton made a huge save. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dennis Robbermond to strike the kick off in the second half. Brain Hulshof struck a weak shot in the 51st minute.
