Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) In the 4th minute Fredrik Odén shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hans Siebum saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hans Siebum stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fredrik Odén's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. If Albert Smit had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 14 minutes, Albert Smit managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pride of the North's supporters crossed their fingers, but Albert Smit was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 15thth minute of the game Fredrik Odén who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pride of the North's Hans Siebum was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Hans Siebum took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fredrik Odén, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Berend Korfs fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hans Siebum having to interfere. A collision led to Nijhoven getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Geale Idelberger hit a great ball. 29 minutes into the match, Pride of the North's goal looked a bit too open when Fredrik Odén came free, but Hans Siebum reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hans Siebum took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fredrik Odén, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Geale Idelberger managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nijhoven's supporters rose to their feet, but Geale Idelberger was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hans Siebum breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Nijhoven fans' excitement grew in the 35th match minute when Nijhoven's Fredrik Odén looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 45thth minute of the game Fredrik Odén who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pride of the North's Hans Siebum was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Berend Korfs could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Hans Siebum made a huge save. Hans Siebum showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fredrik Odén in the 58th minute of the match. When Rien Saarberg came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Pride of the North fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rien Saarberg couldn't finish the play. If Fredrik Odén had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fredrik Odén let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 66th minute shot 0-3 at rihgt post. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Fredrik Odén managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nijhoven's supporters rose to their feet, but Fredrik Odén was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hans Siebum breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Richard Fens sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nijhoven's Jan Wel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albert Smit in the 73rd minute of play. Pride of the North's Hans Siebum proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save Pride of the North from getting a goal against them. The Nijhoven fans' excitement grew in the 77th match minute when Nijhoven's Fredrik Odén looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 80 minutes, Pierre Schirring mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Nijhoven and the Pride of the North players grew even worse after the yellow card. 82 minutes into the game, Henk-Jan Stroobos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pride of the North's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Nijhoven the free kick. After a rather tough play, Pride of the North's Henk-Jan Stroobos got a free kick in the 82nd minute. After having played for 84 minutes, Fredrik Odén managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nijhoven's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fredrik Odén was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With an all-out effort, Nijhoven's Hans Siebum threw himself towards the right post 86 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Fredrik Odén, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Rien Saarberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Marcel de Hondt's late challenge caught a Pride of the North's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marcel de Hondt helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Pride of the North booed when Nijhoven was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcel de Hondt didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 92nd minute Albert Smit shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan Wel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fredrik Odén who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 93rdth minute tested the skills of Hans Siebum when he managed to save the team from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Richard Fens in the 94th minute of play forced Pride of the North's goalkeeper Hans Siebum to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pride of the North's Hans Siebum played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fredrik Odén in the 97th minute of play. Nijhoven played a much better game than Pride of the North and deserved their victory. The Pride of the North players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
