In the 10th minute Henny Sparnaaij shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ruud Colen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ricky Ruiter in the 11th minute of play forced Spoorakker BV's goalkeeper Robin Theuws to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Oscar Ronde hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. 19 minutes into the match, Wim Kauffeld had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Robin Theuws. Spoorakker BV's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Wim Kauffeld was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. 24 minutes into the game, Dirk-Jan Temen cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Robin Theuws was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Robin Theuws took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ralph Robbermond, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 32nd minute Dirk-Jan Temen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robin Theuws saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Spoorakker BV's Robin Theuws played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dirk-Jan Temen in the 32nd minute of play. Robin Theuws made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ralph Robbermond in the 37th minute of play. Robin Theuws showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wim Kauffeld in the 39th minute of the match. With a little luck, Spoorakker BV's Robin Theuws got control of the ball when Giovanni Schaars tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 64th minute of the match GYM got a corner. Spoorakker BV's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Dirk-Jan Temen ran over to the corner to take the kick. Elmar Verhoeven thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Robin Theuws, a very annoying self made goal in the 64th minute which led to 0-7. In the 68th minute, Giovanni Schaars left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The GYM fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-8. Through an outstanding action, after 71 minutes, Robin Theuws successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post.
