Robin Theuws made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Adriaan Dijkstra hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. In the 13th match minute, Spoorakker BV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ralf van der Tol to maneuver through the defense. Niels-Jan Gerseke took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 14th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Robin Theuws. Spoorakker BV's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Robin Theuws took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mark Brans, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Robin Theuws showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mark Brans, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. In the 21st minute, Jacob Pedriza ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Robin Theuws was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Remond Bender hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. A collision led to Eintracht Schultenbräu getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Carel van der Wiel hit a great ball. In the 28th minute, Harm Eringa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 31 minutes into the match, Mark Brans notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Spoorakker BV's Robin Theuws. Robin Theuws was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Adriaan Dijkstra blasted a shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Robin Theuws having to make a save. Mark Brans scored 0-4 in the 39th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Robin Theuws, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Henk van Rhijn made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Freek ter Averst sent off a good shot on target. The Eintracht Schultenbräu fans' excitement grew in the 48th match minute when Eintracht Schultenbräu's Mark Brans looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-5 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-5 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mark Brans made a kick off. After 57 minutes of play, Spoorakker BV's Henny Sparnaaij made it 1-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Henk van Rhijn was left in no man's land by his defense there! Henk van Rhijn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Remond Bender in the 68th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Remond Bender during the 70th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Niels-Jan Gerseke took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 71st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Robin Theuws. Spoorakker BV's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 73 minutes into the match, Eintracht Schultenbräu's goal looked a bit too open when Freek ter Averst came free, but Henk van Rhijn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 77th minute, Mark Brans reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Robin Theuws. The goal made the score 1-6. In the 83rd minute Henny Sparnaaij shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henk van Rhijn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 86th minute, Eintracht Schultenbräu's Tjeerd Zoetmulder seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Tjeerd Zoetmulder the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Eintracht Schultenbräu protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Tjeerd Zoetmulder had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 85 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Eintracht Schultenbräu! After some careless play in the Eintracht Schultenbräu defense, Henny Sparnaaij kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Henk van Rhijn. The Eintracht Schultenbräu fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Henk van Rhijn should have stopped the shot. If Henny Sparnaaij had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 98 minutes, Mark Brans took a quick shot and it went in 2-7 without a chance for Robin Theuws to make any attempt to save it. Eintracht Schultenbräu played a much better game than Spoorakker BV and deserved their victory. The Spoorakker BV players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
