Gerrit Molnar received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jurre Roelfs came out and tried to block the shot, but Gerrit Molnar slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 9th minute. In the 11th minute, Gertjan Maes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 15 minutes, Boudewijn van der Wiel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ubojnia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Boudewijn van der Wiel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Joop Zeegers might have been able to make a better finish in the 17th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dé Coffee. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Joop Zeegers ran back to his position shaking his head. Otto Oldenbeuving received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jurre Roelfs came out and tried to block the shot, but Otto Oldenbeuving slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 18th minute. The supporters of LSC 1890 booed when Ubojnia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Inácio Mineiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Gerrit Molnar fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored LSC 1890's protests and gave Gerrit Molnar a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, LSC 1890's Gerrit Molnar got a free kick in the 29th minute. In the 29th minute of the match Gertjan Maes sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dé Coffee skillfully saved the ball. When Inácio Mineiro came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Ubojnia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Inácio Mineiro couldn't finish the play. Joop Zeegers fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dé Coffee having to interfere. Gerasim Demin's late challenge caught a Ubojnia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gerasim Demin helped the player get up and apologised. In the 38th match minute, LSC 1890 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gerasim Demin to maneuver through the defense. 42 minutes into the game, Iwan de Boer was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. LSC 1890's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ubojnia the free kick.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Joop Zeegers stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Berry Neeskens took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jurre Roelfs. Jurre Roelfs dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. In the 55th minute, Iwan de Boer left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The LSC 1890 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. After 57 minutes, Antoon Neijsen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the LSC 1890 and the Ubojnia players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to LSC 1890 getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Antoon Neijsen hit a great ball. Jurre Roelfs came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by LSC 1890's Gerrit Molnar. But to his dismay, Gerrit Molnar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. Jurre Roelfs took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Berry Neeskens, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 69 minutes into the match, Berry Neeskens had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jurre Roelfs. Ubojnia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Berry Neeskens was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. A collision led to Ubojnia getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Gertjan Maes hit a great ball. After 75 minutes, Rasmus Fagrell mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ubojnia and the LSC 1890 players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ubojnia's Jurre Roelfs played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iwan de Boer in the 77th minute of play. A collision led to LSC 1890 getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Iwan de Boer hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Iwan de Boer managed to get in a good position for a shot. LSC 1890's supporters rose to their feet, but Iwan de Boer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jurre Roelfs breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dé Coffee made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Joop Zeegers sent off a good shot on target. 88 minutes into the game, Berry Neeskens cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 8-0. Jurre Roelfs was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 95th minute Berry Neeskens shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jurre Roelfs saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Berry Neeskens in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jurre Roelfs prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Iwan de Boer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jurre Roelfs having to interfere. LSC 1890's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
