Bart Post was left in no man's land by his defense there! Bart Post took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Grigore Bogătean, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 8 minutes into the game, Michel Cremers cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Bart Post was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Laurens van Dalen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Miguel Proença made a huge save. When Seagulls's Grigore Bogătean in the 16th minute got a chance for a shot 16th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Saleen's goalie prevented a goal. Michel Cremers recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 20 minutes into the game, Seagulls's Marco Mook nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bart Post made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Miguel Proença showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mathieu Trenning in the 26th minute of the match. Endre Sipos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Miguel Proença tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. FC Saleen's Bart Post played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Casper Sturkenboom in the 30th minute of play. Bart Post came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by Seagulls's Grigore Bogătean. But to his dismay, Grigore Bogătean quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Bart Post stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Grigore Bogătean's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. When Seagulls's Grigore Bogătean in the 39th minute got a chance for a shot 39th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Saleen's goalie prevented a goal. Bart Post showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Michel Cremers, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. In the 42nd minute, Mathieu Trenning got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mathieu Trenning recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Seagulls's Miguel Proença played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mirko Oevermans in the 47th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

With a little luck, FC Saleen's Bart Post got control of the ball when Grigore Bogătean tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 62 minutes, Marco Mook mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Seagulls and the FC Saleen players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 62 played minutes Seagulls got a freekick which was hit by Marco Mook. Filip de Visser received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Miguel Proença tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marco Mook in the 66th minute of play forced FC Saleen's goalkeeper Bart Post to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 69th minute, Laurens van Dalen left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Saleen fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-5. Laurens van Dalen took the ball and in the 75 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Miguel Proença. Miguel Proença dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-5. In a very dangerous position, a player in FC Saleen fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 79th minute. Penalty! FC Saleen:s Bart Post showed great skill when he stopped Michel Cremers:s penalty. A collision led to FC Saleen getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Mirko Oevermans hit a great ball. Bart Post showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Michel Cremers in the 82nd minute of the match. 88 minutes into the match, FC Saleen's goalkeeper Bart Post had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Grigore Bogătean. Bart Post made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Michel Cremers in the 92nd minute of play. If Filip de Visser had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bart Post took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Grigore Bogătean, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
