Spectators: 7509 (Terracing: 5584, Seating: 1875, VIP seats: 50) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Mathieu Trenning got the match started through his kick off. In the 2nd minute, Alessio Marra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Peter Borg got free with Bart Post in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Laurens van Dalen hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, FC Saleen's Jacques Jansen got a free kick in the 12th minute. Hernen Bacon's Peter Borg shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 12th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Bart Post but with some difficulty. With a little luck, FC Saleen's Bart Post got control of the ball when Hirving Lozano tried to sneak it across the goal line. Kacper Gruchacz came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Saleen's Laurens van Dalen. But to his dismay, Laurens van Dalen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. If Marcus Luijpers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bart Post made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Peter Borg sent off a good shot on target. Peter Borg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Bart Post made a huge save. The Hernen Bacon players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. FC Saleen were winning 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hirving Lozano stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marcus Luijpers got free with Kacper Gruchacz in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Peter Borg in the 59th minute of play forced FC Saleen's goalkeeper Bart Post to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mathieu Trenning got free with Kacper Gruchacz in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Bart Post made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Peter Borg in the 67th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Hernen Bacon's Vincent Stubbe got a free kick in the 69th minute. In the 76th match minute, FC Saleen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mirko Oevermans to maneuver through the defense. 77 minutes into the match, Hirving Lozano had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bart Post. FC Saleen's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hirving Lozano was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. In the 82nd minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Saleen's goalkeeper Bart Post, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Bart Post showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ivo Roelofsen in the 85th minute of the match. The supporters of FC Saleen booed when Hernen Bacon was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Folker van Gastel didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Hernen Bacon getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Peter Borg hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Peter Borg in the 95th minute of play forced FC Saleen's goalkeeper Bart Post to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
