Spectators: 7509 (Terracing: 5584, Seating: 1875, VIP seats: 50) Hernen Bacon's Hirving Lozano started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Hirving Lozano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 2nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 4th minute, Folker van Gastel ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dean Verbruggen was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Kacper Gruchacz came out of the goal in the 7th minute to try and stop a shot by MVV Maastricht's Maarten Colen. But to his dismay, Maarten Colen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 10th minute of the match, Hirving Lozano got a very nice opportunity to score, but Dean Verbruggen was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Maarten Colen in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kacper Gruchacz saved Hernen Bacon from getting behind. In the 17th minute, Gilbert Fleur hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kacper Gruchacz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maarten Colen in the 21st minute of the match. MVV Maastricht's Alfred Oss has a good shot, but didn't show it this time. The shot went over the crossbar in the 27th minute. Kacper Gruchacz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maarten Colen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dean Verbruggen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Peter Borg in the 32nd minute of the match. Dean Verbruggen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Peter Borg, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. In the 36th minute, Maarten Colen made a precise shot to the right of Kacper Gruchacz. Hernen Bacon's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Dean Verbruggen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hirving Lozano in the 40th minute of the match. Dean Verbruggen didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Peter Borg went, in the 42nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. Maarten Colen hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. When Gilbert Fleur fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored MVV Maastricht's protests and gave Gilbert Fleur a yellow card for diving instead. Gilbert Fleur kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

In the 54th minute of the match MVV Maastricht got a corner. Hernen Bacon's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Maurits Ruben ran over to the corner to take the kick. It was a well-played corner which Ricky Mol managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Hernen Bacon's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Maurits Ruben 57 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-3. Hirving Lozano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Dean Verbruggen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. MVV Maastricht's Dean Verbruggen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Peter Borg in the 63rd minute of play. After 67 played minutes MVV Maastricht got a freekick which was hit by Ricky Mol. In the 68th minute, Hirving Lozano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 71st match minute, Hernen Bacon was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vincent Stubbe to maneuver through the defense. In the 73rd minute, Gilbert Fleur hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vincent Stubbe kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Mathijs de Zee received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Kacper Gruchacz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dean Verbruggen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Peter Borg, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Kacper Gruchacz was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Maarten Colen showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-4 in the 87 minute of play. Ricky Mol kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Peter Borg took the ball and in the 92 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dean Verbruggen. Dean Verbruggen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-4.
