Spectators: 8490 (Terracing: 6371, Seating: 1950, VIP seats: 169) FC Saleen's Mathieu Trenning started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, FC Saleen's Erwin Opdam got a free kick in the 5th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carel Tellingen in the 7th minute of play forced FC Saleen's goalkeeper Bart Post to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Carel Tellingen in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bart Post prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Marcus Luijpers's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 9thth minute, Robert Czarnecki skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The throw-in from Herman Ritsma in the 13th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by FC Saleen's Laurens van Dalen. A well placed Mathieu Trenning short distance shot in the 14th minute ended with a hard ball which without a chance for the goalkeeper went staright up into the goalkeepers left cross. FC Saleen's Laurens van Dalen got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 18th match minute, Menzel SV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carel Tellingen to maneuver through the defense. Robert Czarnecki made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marcus Luijpers in the 19th minute. After 21 minutes Menzel SV's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Erwin Opdam who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Erwin Opdam got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Robert Czarnecki quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Mirko Oevermans scored 2-0 in the 23rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Robert Czarnecki, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. FC Saleen's Mathieu Trenning got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Menzel SV getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Hugo Waesbergen hit a great ball. Mathieu Trenning sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 38 played minutes Menzel SV got a freekick which was hit by Carel Tellingen. Robert Czarnecki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mathieu Trenning, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Robert Czarnecki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcus Luijpers in the 46th minute of the match. In the 48th minute FC Saleen were awarded a corner. Erwin Opdam went to the cornerflag to take it.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Brynn La Forte was the one to do the kick off. Marcus Luijpers scored 3-0 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Robert Czarnecki, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Bart Post made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernt Galle in the 55th minute of play. Marcus Luijpers received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Robert Czarnecki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jun Misugi charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jun Misugi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Menzel SV getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Jun Misugi hit a great ball. Robert Czarnecki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcus Luijpers in the 59th minute of the match. Brynn La Forte could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Bart Post made a huge save. After 64 minutes of play, FC Saleen's Marcus Luijpers made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Robert Czarnecki was left in no man's land by his defense there! Robert Czarnecki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Laurens van Dalen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 68 minutes Menzel SV's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Erwin Opdam who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Erwin Opdam almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Menzel SV's Robert Czarnecki did a great save. After 74 played minutes Menzel SV got a freekick which was hit by Hugo Waesbergen. Mathieu Trenning sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Robert Czarnecki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcus Luijpers, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. After having played for 78 minutes, Mathieu Trenning managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Saleen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mathieu Trenning was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Marcus Luijpers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Robert Czarnecki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mathieu Trenning, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Robert Czarnecki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Folker Heesen in the 84th minute of play. If Laurens van Dalen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Gilbert Derks fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robert Czarnecki having to interfere. Bart Post showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Izaak Moorman, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Marcus Luijpers sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 96 minutes into the match, FC Saleen's goalkeeper Bart Post had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Brynn La Forte.
