Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Klaus Borgman took the kick off in the first half of the match. Hubert Rijkaard came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by Hernen Bacon's Peter Borg. But to his dismay, Peter Borg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. VVS's Hubert Rijkaard played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ricardo Caneira in the 11th minute of play. After 22 minutes of play, Hernen Bacon's Hirving Lozano made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hubert Rijkaard was left in no man's land by his defense there! 26 minutes into the match, Hirving Lozano notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of VVS's Hubert Rijkaard. Hubert Rijkaard was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Hernen Bacon's Hirving Lozano got a free kick in the 30th minute. Eddy Verweijen took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kacper Gruchacz. Kacper Gruchacz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. 34 minutes into the match, 蔡榕响 had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hubert Rijkaard. VVS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that 蔡榕响 was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-5. The supporters of VVS booed when Hernen Bacon was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. 蔡榕响 didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kacper Gruchacz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eddy Verweijen in the 39th minute. In the 40th match minute, Hernen Bacon was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ricardo Caneira to maneuver through the defense. Kacper Gruchacz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Klaus Borgman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to VVS getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Christiaan Butter hit a great ball. If Klaus Borgman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half Hernen Bacon were leading 1-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hirving Lozano stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd match minute, VVS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcel Kuiper to maneuver through the defense. Hubert Rijkaard made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Peter Borg in the 57th minute of play. VVS's defense didn't have a chance, in the 61st minute, when Ricardo Caneira scored to the left of an out of position Hubert Rijkaard, making the score, 1-6. 65 minutes into the match, VVS's goalkeeper Hubert Rijkaard had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hirving Lozano. In the 66th minute, Eddy Verweijen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 69th minute, Peter Borg ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hubert Rijkaard was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-7. A collision led to VVS getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Christiaan Butter hit a great ball. In the 75th minute Peter Borg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hubert Rijkaard saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 76th minute, Hernen Bacon's Ricardo Caneira dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-8. Hirving Lozanos short, quick shot in the 79thth minute got Hubert Rijkaard to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Hubert Rijkaard took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ivo Roelofsen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kacper Gruchacz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eddy Verweijen went, in the 88th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-8 was the resulting score. Peter Borg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 93 minutes into the match, VVS's goal looked a bit too open when Ricardo Caneira came free, but Hubert Rijkaard reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 94th minute, Hirving Lozano left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hernen Bacon fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-9. When the match was over Hernen Bacon could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than VVS throughout the match.
