Spectators: 8527 (Terracing: 6407, Seating: 1950, VIP seats: 170) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Finidi George got the match started through his kick off. 4 minutes into the match, Mathieu Trenning notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Caseys Dreamteam 2's Cláudio Linhares. Cláudio Linhares was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 7 played minutes FC Saleen got a freekick which was hit by Jacques Jansen. Cláudio Linhares made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marcus Luijpers in the 9th minute. After having played for 10 minutes, Marcus Luijpers managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Saleen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marcus Luijpers was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Caseys Dreamteam 2's Cláudio Linhares got control of the ball when Marcus Luijpers tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marcus Luijpers got free with Cláudio Linhares in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Finidi George in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bart Post saved FC Saleen from getting behind. Marcus Luijpers's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Cláudio Linhares firmly grabbed it by the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Erwin Opdam got free with Cláudio Linhares in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 22 minutes into the game, Mickael Janus was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Saleen's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Caseys Dreamteam 2 the free kick. The supporters of Caseys Dreamteam 2 booed when FC Saleen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mickael Janus didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bart Post made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Finidi George in the 25th minute of play. In the 32nd minute, Jacques Jansen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gert Jan de Zaaijer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 39 minutes into the match, Caseys Dreamteam 2's goal looked a bit too open when Endre Sipos came free, but Cláudio Linhares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When FC Saleen's Mathieu Trenning in the 40th minute got a chance for a shot 40th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Caseys Dreamteam 2's goalie prevented a goal. Bart Post made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. In the 47thth minute of the game Mathieu Trenning who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Caseys Dreamteam 2's Cláudio Linhares was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mathieu Trenning stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Bart Post took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Claude Helssen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 53 minutes into the match, Caseys Dreamteam 2's goal looked a bit too open when Laurens van Dalen came free, but Cláudio Linhares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 55th minute Mathieu Trenning shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cláudio Linhares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rudi de Zwart kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. A collision led to Caseys Dreamteam 2 getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Ben Luikens hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Caseys Dreamteam 2's Ben Luikens got a free kick in the 61st minute. Caseys Dreamteam 2's Cláudio Linhares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcus Luijpers in the 66th minute of play. 69 minutes into the match, FC Saleen's goalkeeper Bart Post had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Finidi George. 70 minutes into the game, Marcus Luijpers cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Cláudio Linhares was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 79 minutes into the match, Caseys Dreamteam 2's goal looked a bit too open when Marcus Luijpers came free, but Cláudio Linhares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. FC Saleen's Bart Post proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save FC Saleen from getting a goal against them. 86 minutes into the game, Finidi George cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Bart Post was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 92nd minute Marcus Luijpers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cláudio Linhares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 94 played minutes Caseys Dreamteam 2 got a freekick which was hit by Ben Luikens. Caseys Dreamteam 2 succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though FC Saleen had controlled the match.
