Spectators: 8320 (Terracing: 6240, Seating: 1913, VIP seats: 167) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Anastasio Muno got the match started through his kick off. In the 3rd minute, Anastasio Muno ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hubert Rijkaard was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. After a rather tough play, VVS's Philip Hoffhuis got a free kick in the 8th minute. Jeffrey Heeringas short, quick shot in the 13thth minute got Hubert Rijkaard to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Dennis van Hintum managed to get in a good position for a shot. VVS's supporters rose to their feet, but Dennis van Hintum was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Geert van Harten breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 16th minute, Donald Fleur left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Poortugaal FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Hubert Rijkaard showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anastasio Muno in the 25th minute of the match. In the 26th minute of the match Poortugaal FC got a corner. VVS's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jeffrey Heeringa ran over to the corner to take the kick. When Eddy Verweijen fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored VVS's protests and gave Eddy Verweijen a yellow card for diving instead. Eddy Verweijen kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. 28 minutes into the match, Poortugaal FC's Donald Fleur sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hubert Rijkaard narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 31 minutes, Anastasio Muno took a quick shot and it went in 4-0 without a chance for Hubert Rijkaard to make any attempt to save it. Rein Bessing's late challenge caught a Poortugaal FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rein Bessing helped the player get up and apologised. Rein Bessing hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Poortugaal FC's Jeffrey Heeringa got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 41 minutes of play VVS's Eddy Verweijen was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After a rather tough play, VVS's Eddy Verweijen got a free kick in the 41st minute. Anastasio Muno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hubert Rijkaard having to interfere. Donald Fleur took the ball and in the 47 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hubert Rijkaard. Hubert Rijkaard dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 6-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Klaus Borgman made the kick off in the second half. Hubert Rijkaard took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anastasio Muno, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hubert Rijkaard made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anastasio Muno in the 55th minute of play. 59 minutes into the game, Jeffrey Heeringa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Poortugaal FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave VVS the free kick. In the 59th match minute, Poortugaal FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jeffrey Heeringa to maneuver through the defense. In the 61st match minute, VVS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rein Bessing to maneuver through the defense. It was beautiful to see Poortugaal FC's Harm Ros in action when he in the 63rd minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Hubert Rijkaard came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by Poortugaal FC's Anastasio Muno. But to his dismay, Anastasio Muno quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. 69 minutes into the game, Anastasio Muno cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 8-0. Hubert Rijkaard was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. VVS's Hubert Rijkaard played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anastasio Muno in the 72nd minute of play. Hubert Rijkaard didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Donald Fleur went, in the 74th minute, to the upper right corner, 9-0 was the resulting score. Anastasio Muno kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. VVS's Marcel Kuiper quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Sven Berg, made in the 80th minute of the game. Jeffrey Heeringa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hubert Rijkaard read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. In the 87th minute, Anastasio Muno ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hubert Rijkaard was frozen by the shot and now it was 11-0. A collision led to Poortugaal FC getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Tim Dagelet hit a great ball. Hubert Rijkaard didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jeffrey Heeringa went, in the 91st minute, to the upper right corner, 12-0 was the resulting score. After some careless play in the VVS defense, Anastasio Muno kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hubert Rijkaard. The VVS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hubert Rijkaard should have stopped the shot. Poortugaal FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
