Frytum's Hans Geitz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gooitzen Bot in the 32nd minute of play. Gooitzen Bot scored 0-2 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hans Geitz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 35thth minute of the game Finidi George who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Frytum's Hans Geitz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 37th minute Paulo Oliverios shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cláudio Linhares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Paulo Oliverios kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Cláudio Linhares. That made the score 1-2 in the 37 minute of play. 41 minutes into the game, Caseys Dreamteam 2's Finidi George nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hans Geitz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Hans Geitz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Finidi George, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute.

Caseys Dreamteam 2's Cláudio Linhares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Douwe Peeters in the 52nd minute of play. When Finidi George came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Caseys Dreamteam 2 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Finidi George couldn't finish the play. Finidi George could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Hans Geitz made a huge save. 63 minutes into the match, Frytum's goal looked a bit too open when Finidi George came free, but Hans Geitz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Caseys Dreamteam 2's Gert Jan de Zaaijer got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Caseys Dreamteam 2's Matias Abadie was substituted for Gert Jan de Zaaijer. Caseys Dreamteam 2's Evert Vennegoor was substituted for Gooitzen Bot. Ryan Fokkens charged in rather forcefully in the 78th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ryan Fokkens the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 78 played minutes Frytum got a freekick which was hit by Ryan Fokkens. 80 minutes into the match, Frytum's goalkeeper Hans Geitz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Finidi George. After 83 minutes of play, Caseys Dreamteam 2's Finidi George made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hans Geitz was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Frytum's Paulo Oliverios got a free kick in the 86th minute. In the 87th minute, Claude Helssen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Finidi George received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Hans Geitz came out and tried to block the shot, but Finidi George slotted it home off the left post making it 1-5 in the 91st minute. If Finidi George had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Boudewijn Been hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. When the match was over Caseys Dreamteam 2 could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Frytum throughout the match.
