Spectators: 7503 (Terracing: 5575, Seating: 1878, VIP seats: 50) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Brynn La Forte kicked off to start the match. In the 3rd minute Laurens van Dalen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robert Czarnecki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Robert Czarnecki didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marcus Luijpers went, in the 5th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. If Marcus Luijpers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Menzel SV getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Zachary Charlap hit a great ball. In the 11th minute, Mathieu Trenning made a precise shot to the right of Robert Czarnecki. Menzel SV's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Mirko Oevermans fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robert Czarnecki having to interfere. When Marcus Luijpers came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the FC Saleen fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcus Luijpers couldn't finish the play. Robert Czarnecki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mathieu Trenning in the 21st minute of play. Robert Czarnecki came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by FC Saleen's Mathieu Trenning. But to his dismay, Mathieu Trenning quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. 26 minutes into the match, Marcus Luijpers had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Robert Czarnecki. Menzel SV's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marcus Luijpers was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. After a defensive mix-up in Menzel SV's zone, Mathieu Trenning stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Robert Czarnecki came out of the goal and Mathieu Trenning tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Robert Czarnecki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcus Luijpers in the 31st minute of play. Marcus Luijpers took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Robert Czarnecki. Robert Czarnecki dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. When the match had gone on for 37 minutes, Marcus Luijpers put it in 0-6 from a short distance just to the right of Robert Czarnecki. After 41 minutes of play, FC Saleen's Mathieu Trenning made it 0-7 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Robert Czarnecki was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Menzel SV getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Jun Misugi hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Menzel SV's zone, Marcus Luijpers stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Robert Czarnecki came out of the goal and Marcus Luijpers tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mathieu Trenning to make the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Mathieu Trenning kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Robert Czarnecki. That made the score 0-8 in the 51 minute of play. 54 minutes into the match, FC Saleen's goal looked a bit too open when Carel Tellingen came free, but Bart Post reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 56 minutes into the match, Menzel SV's goalkeeper Robert Czarnecki had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marcus Luijpers. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mathieu Trenning in the 57th minute of play forced Menzel SV's goalkeeper Robert Czarnecki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to FC Saleen getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Erwin Opdam hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marcus Luijpers got free with Robert Czarnecki in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Izaak Moorman kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Mirko Oevermans scored 0-9 in the 70th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Robert Czarnecki, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 75 minutes into the game, Menzel SV's Bernt Galle nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bart Post made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-9. 79 minutes into the match, Marcus Luijpers dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Robert Czarnecki, 1-10. With a little luck, Menzel SV's Robert Czarnecki got control of the ball when Marcus Luijpers tried to sneak it across the goal line. FC Saleen's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Erwin Opdam in the 88th minute. A well-hit corner resulted in Mickael Janus heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Carel Tellingen during the 90th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Menzel SV getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Jun Misugi hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernt Galle in the 96th minute of play forced FC Saleen's goalkeeper Bart Post to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FC Saleen's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
