Spectators: 8200 (Terracing: 6300, Seating: 1800, VIP seats: 100) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Brynn La Forte took the kick off in the first half of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wim van Gaal in the 5th minute of play forced Menzel SV's goalkeeper Robert Czarnecki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Robert Czarnecki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wim van Gaal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tonny Robbermond in the 16th minute of play forced Menzel SV's goalkeeper Robert Czarnecki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee felt a red card was in order, 21 minutes into the game, when Marinus Oldenbeuving put in a rough tackle. After 21 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for La Isla Bonita! In the 30thth minute of the game Tonny Robbermond who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Menzel SV's Robert Czarnecki was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Tonny Robbermond had several of the Menzel SV's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 31 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-1 score and a disappointed Robert Czarnecki as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 35th minute, Lukas Pierewaaijer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 38 minutes, Jan Rein Colen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. La Isla Bonita's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jan Rein Colen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 42 minutes into the match, La Isla Bonita's goal looked a bit too open when Izaak Moorman came free, but Ruddi Elmfelt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 47th minute, Reginaldo Vasconcelos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Wim van Gaal made the kick off in the second half. 69 minutes into the match, Tonny Robbermond notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Menzel SV's Robert Czarnecki. Robert Czarnecki was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Lukas Pierewaaijer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 74 minutes into the game, Wim van Gaal cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Robert Czarnecki was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 79 minutes into the match, Menzel SV's goal looked a bit too open when Tonny Robbermond came free, but Robert Czarnecki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hugo Waesbergen during the 80th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 80 played minutes Menzel SV got a freekick which was hit by Hugo Waesbergen. After recieving a nice pass, La Isla Bonita's Maikel Wiarda tried to score from far away in the 81st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Robert Czarnecki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tonny Robbermond in the 86th minute of the match. After 89 minutes, Bernt Galle mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Menzel SV and the La Isla Bonita players grew even worse after the yellow card. Tonny Robbermond's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Robert Czarnecki read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. Bernt Galle received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ruddi Elmfelt came out and tried to block the shot, but Bernt Galle slotted it home off the left post making it 3-2 in the 92nd minute. La Isla Bonita's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
