Peter Borg scored 0-1 in the 3rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ruddi Elmfelt, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Hernen Bacon's Kenneth Bender got a free kick in the 5th minute. After having played for 7 minutes, Ricardo Caneira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hernen Bacon's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ricardo Caneira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, La Isla Bonita's Marinus Oldenbeuving got a free kick in the 8th minute. In the 10th match minute, La Isla Bonita was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mart Boeve to maneuver through the defense. Peter Borg missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 11 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Ruddi Elmfelt right hand side. In the 15th match minute, Hernen Bacon was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Folker van Gastel to maneuver through the defense. Ruddi Elmfelt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 39 minutes into the match, Wim van Gaal dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Kacper Gruchacz, 1-1. Ruddi Elmfelt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ricardo Caneira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Wim van Gaal was the one to do the kick off. Ricardo Caneira received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ruddi Elmfelt came out and tried to block the shot, but Ricardo Caneira slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 54th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tonny Robbermond in the 58th minute of play forced Hernen Bacon's goalkeeper Kacper Gruchacz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 64th minute, Tonny Robbermond hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Hernen Bacon's Ivo Roelofsen got a free kick in the 66th minute. In the 68thth minute of the game Maikel Wiarda who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hernen Bacon's Kacper Gruchacz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 72nd minute, Hirving Lozano left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hernen Bacon fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. Ruddi Elmfelt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Peter Borg in the 78th minute of play. La Isla Bonita's Ruddi Elmfelt proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save La Isla Bonita from getting a goal against them. 80 minutes into the match, Hernen Bacon's goal looked a bit too open when Tonny Robbermond came free, but Kacper Gruchacz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ivo Roelofsen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Ruddi Elmfelt made a huge save. When the match had gone on for 85 minutes, Peter Borg took a quick shot and it went in 1-4 without a chance for Ruddi Elmfelt to make any attempt to save it. In the 87th minute Ricardo Caneira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ruddi Elmfelt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kacper Gruchacz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tonny Robbermond, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Ruddi Elmfelt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Peter Borg in the 91st minute of the match. Ruddi Elmfelt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Peter Borg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 94 minutes, Hirving Lozano took a quick shot and it went in 1-5 without a chance for Ruddi Elmfelt to make any attempt to save it. The La Isla Bonita fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Hernen Bacon were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
