Joop Jurjens hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. Tommy de Zeeuw showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arjen Saanen, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. Tommy de Zeeuw came out of the goal in the 6th minute to try and stop a shot by Northern Titans's Maikel Lammers. But to his dismay, Maikel Lammers quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Maikel Lammers received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Tommy de Zeeuw tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Northern Titans's Dries Bosz quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Mike Ijspol, made in the 12th minute of the game. Joop Jurjens hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. ASV Muziekwijk's Tommy de Zeeuw played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arjen Saanen in the 17th minute of play. After having played for 18 minutes, Richard Heerspink managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Northern Titans's supporters crossed their fingers, but Richard Heerspink was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 0-2 became the score in the 21st minute when Maikel Lammers elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 25th minute, Menno Heck ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tommy de Zeeuw was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Tommy de Zeeuw made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Richard Heerspink in the 29th minute of play. Maikel Lammers recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Billy Hollander took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dennis Hekman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Wim Oosterman during the 34th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to ASV Muziekwijk getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Wim Oosterman hit a great ball. Northern Titans's Gerald Maurits quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Huib van der Doelen, made in the 40th minute of the game. 44 minutes into the match, Northern Titans's goal looked a bit too open when Ton Meulman came free, but Billy Hollander reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arjen Saanen in the 45th minute of play forced ASV Muziekwijk's goalkeeper Tommy de Zeeuw to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The wind increased when Dennis Hekman made the kick off in the second half. After 50 played minutes ASV Muziekwijk got a freekick which was hit by Joop Jurjens. 52 minutes into the match, Northern Titans's goal looked a bit too open when Ton Meulman came free, but Billy Hollander reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gerald Maurits kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. In the 57th minute of the match, Richard Heerspink got a very nice opportunity to score, but Tommy de Zeeuw was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 58 minutes into the match, ASV Muziekwijk's goalkeeper Tommy de Zeeuw had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Richard Heerspink. During the 59th minute of the match Wim Oosterman completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Wim Oosterman a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 60th minute, Wim Oosterman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. ASV Muziekwijk's Tommy de Zeeuw proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save ASV Muziekwijk from getting a goal against them. With an all-out effort, Northern Titans's Tommy de Zeeuw threw himself towards the right post 67 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Maikel Lammers, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Tommy de Zeeuw showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gerald Maurits in the 69th minute of the match. ASV Muziekwijk's Tommy de Zeeuw played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maikel Lammers in the 80th minute of play. Tommy de Zeeuw made an important save on a dangerous shot by Richard Heerspink in the 81st minute. In the 84th match minute, Northern Titans was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Richard Heerspink to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Roelof Busch got free with Tommy de Zeeuw in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 89th match minute, Northern Titans was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Martijn Boezeman to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Northern Titans getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Martijn Boezeman hit a great ball. The supporters of ASV Muziekwijk booed when Northern Titans was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Toni Rogaars didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bert Struiks short, quick shot in the 95thth minute got Tommy de Zeeuw to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Northern Titans's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
