In the 10thth minute of the game Barry Zalm who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC CAMBUUR LEEUWARDEN's Edward Klaassen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 11 minutes into the game, Michael Scott cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Edward Klaassen was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Flashdynamica's Barry Zalm pulled a muscle in his back after 14 minutes and couldn't finish the game. 14 minutes into the game, Kristof de Zaaijer was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC CAMBUUR LEEUWARDEN's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Flashdynamica the free kick. Flashdynamica made a substitution. Xavi Simons replaced Barry Zalm. In the 16th minute, Kristof de Zaaijer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 20 minutes into the match, SC CAMBUUR LEEUWARDEN's goal looked a bit too open when Xavi Simons came free, but Edward Klaassen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. SC CAMBUUR LEEUWARDEN's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Xavi Simons 23 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-0. Xavi Simons received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Edward Klaassen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Xavi Simons had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edward Klaassen made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Michael Scott sent off a good shot on target. Foeke Donderwinkel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Flashdynamica's zone, Foeke Donderwinkel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hendrik-Jan Krommert came out of the goal and Foeke Donderwinkel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Edward Klaassen made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Xavi Simons sent off a good shot on target. Hans-Cees Struik sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Edward Klaassen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xavi Simons in the 46th minute of play. Edward Klaassen made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Michael Scott sent off a good shot on target.

Michael Scott sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. SC CAMBUUR LEEUWARDEN's Edward Klaassen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Michael Scott in the 54th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xavi Simons in the 56th minute of play forced SC CAMBUUR LEEUWARDEN's goalkeeper Edward Klaassen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edward Klaassen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xavi Simons in the 58th minute of the match. In the 60th minute of the match Flashdynamica got a corner. SC CAMBUUR LEEUWARDEN's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Koen Poels ran over to the corner to take the kick. Edward Klaassen came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by Flashdynamica's Xavi Simons. But to his dismay, Xavi Simons quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. 68 minutes into the game, Flashdynamica's Michael Scott nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Edward Klaassen made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. Lucien Pietersma's late challenge caught a SC CAMBUUR LEEUWARDEN's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lucien Pietersma helped the player get up and apologised. After 72 minutes of play Flashdynamica's Lucien Pietersma was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Lucien Pietersma kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. When Flashdynamica's Xavi Simons in the 75th minute got a chance for a shot 75th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SC CAMBUUR LEEUWARDEN's goalie prevented a goal. Dwight Schrute kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. In the 79th minute Xavi Simons shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edward Klaassen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 82 minutes into the match, SC CAMBUUR LEEUWARDEN's goal looked a bit too open when Xavi Simons came free, but Edward Klaassen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Xavi Simons sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Xavi Simons had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Xavi Simons came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Flashdynamica fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Xavi Simons couldn't finish the play. Flashdynamica walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
