The supporters of De tulpen SC booed when Hønefoss BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wilco Fransen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gio Elders showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arjan Spanjer in the 19th minute of the match. In the 20th minute Timoteo Manilan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gio Elders saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The De tulpen SC fans' excitement grew in the 38th match minute when De tulpen SC's Timoteo Manilan looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Jan Rein Driel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wilco Fransen in the 41st minute of play. 42 minutes into the match, Hønefoss BK's goal looked a bit too open when Timoteo Manilan came free, but Gio Elders reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Harm van Zomeren struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Gio Elders didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for De tulpen SC. With his leg Gio Elders managed to avoid a goal in the 60thth minute, when De tulpen SC's Timoteo Manilan fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Harm van Zomeren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gio Elders made an important save on a dangerous shot by Harm van Zomeren in the 64th minute. Gio Elders didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Timoteo Manilan went, in the 67th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-5 was the resulting score. Carel Saarberg kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. When Reinier Gerseke came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the De tulpen SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Reinier Gerseke couldn't finish the play. Carel Saarberg hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. In the 83rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Hønefoss BK's goalkeeper Gio Elders, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Sjef Wagenaar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Jan Rein Driel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A hard shot 89 in the game by Harm van Zomeren from a close distance when the talented Gio Elders managed to make a qualified save. Hønefoss BK's players were relieved. Claus Heeling made in the 90th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Sjef Wagenaar immediately put the ball in play. In the 93rd minute, Timoteo Manilan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Harm van Zomeren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Gio Elders tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the final whistle sounded De tulpen SC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Hønefoss BK.
