If 顾思青 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Scheveningen's Zbyszko Jazwiec got control of the ball when Arjen Saanen tried to sneak it across the goal line. 13 minutes into the game, Northern Titans's Richard Heerspink nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Zbyszko Jazwiec made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Richard Heerspink hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Scheveningen's zone, Menno Heck stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zbyszko Jazwiec came out of the goal and Menno Heck tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 24th minute, Arjen Saanen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zbyszko Jazwiec was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. 27 minutes into the game, Northern Titans's Richard Heerspink nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Zbyszko Jazwiec made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jan Geers in the 31st minute of play forced Scheveningen's goalkeeper Zbyszko Jazwiec to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 32 minutes into the match, Scheveningen's goal looked a bit too open when Maikel Lammers came free, but Zbyszko Jazwiec reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 33rd match minute, Northern Titans was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gerald Maurits to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Maikel Lammers kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Zbyszko Jazwiec. That made the score 5-0 in the 36 minute of play. Richard Heerspink sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 39th minute, Arjen Saanen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zbyszko Jazwiec was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arjen Saanen got free with Zbyszko Jazwiec in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Billy Hollander took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 顾思青, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 6-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Maikel Lammers made a kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gertjan Graaf during the 50th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 51st minute, Gertjan Graaf hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariano Marques in the 57th minute of play forced Northern Titans's goalkeeper Billy Hollander to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee felt a red card was in order, 60 minutes into the game, when Kálmán Imre put in a rough tackle. When the match had been going on for 61 minutes, Scheveningen's Mariano Marques got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Billy Hollander. In the 64th minute Cyryl Ziemniak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Billy Hollander saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zbyszko Jazwiec showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arjen Saanen in the 71st minute of the match. Scheveningen's Zbyszko Jazwiec played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Menno Heck in the 72nd minute of play. 73 minutes into the game, Aktan Aydıntan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Scheveningen's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Northern Titans the free kick. In the 80th minute the ball was on its way in behind Scheveningen's goalkeeper Zbyszko Jazwiec, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After having played for 81 minutes, Arjen Saanen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Northern Titans's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arjen Saanen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Zbyszko Jazwiec made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arjen Saanen in the 84th minute of play. Zbyszko Jazwiec took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Menno Heck, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 88th minute Arjen Saanen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zbyszko Jazwiec saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ben Molenaar charged in rather forcefully in the 91st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ben Molenaar the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Scheveningen:s Zbyszko Jazwiec showed great skill when he stopped Gerald Maurits:s penalty. In the 98th match minute, Scheveningen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 顾思青 to maneuver through the defense. There was no doubt that Northern Titans were the better team. Northern Titans's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
