Gio Elders stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jan Oosting's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. Scheveningen's Mariano Marques got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariano Marques in the 96th minute of play forced Hønefoss BK's goalkeeper Gio Elders to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jan Oosting who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 97thth minute tested the skills of Gio Elders when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Scheveningen were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Hønefoss BK to leave the ground with a draw.
