When Dynamo Blitz's Bruno Zuidema in the 10th minute got a chance for a shot 10th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Hønefoss BK's goalie prevented a goal. Gio Elders showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marinus Westerink in the 13th minute of the match. Radul Ranev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wilco Fransen in the 16th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Bruno Zuidema's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gio Elders was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bruno Zuidema in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gio Elders saved Hønefoss BK from getting behind. Hønefoss BK's Gio Elders played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bruno Zuidema in the 33rd minute of play. 35 minutes into the match, Hønefoss BK's goal looked a bit too open when Bruno Zuidema came free, but Gio Elders reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hønefoss BK's Giannis de Vries quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Azghar Sarosh, made in the 36th minute of the game. 37 minutes into the match, Hønefoss BK's Wilco Fransen sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Radul Ranev narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 40th minute Bruno Zuidema shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gio Elders saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 44 minutes into the game, Bruno Zuidema cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Gio Elders was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The wind increased when Sjef Wagenaar made the kick off in the second half. Gio Elders stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bruno Zuidema's shot from short distance in the 51st minute. Elbert Smeekes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 53rd minute Marinus Westerink shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gio Elders saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 54 minutes into the match, Hønefoss BK's goal looked a bit too open when Joshua Bannatyne came free, but Gio Elders reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hønefoss BK were furious when Daan Wittendorp was red carded, 56 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 57th minute there was a penalty for Dynamo Blitz. Azghar Sarosh stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Gio Elders. 0-3. Hønefoss BK's Gio Elders proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save Hønefoss BK from getting a goal against them. In the 62nd minute Dynamo Blitz were awarded a corner. Azghar Sarosh went to the cornerflag to take it. Azghar Sarosh made a great header on Dynamo Blitz's corner, it was just that Hønefoss BK's Gio Elders managed to reach the ball for a save. Sjef Wagenaar tried in the 62nd minute to hit away a contribution but miss-kicked the ball which ended up in his own goal and left an unhappy Gio Elders a with quite unnecessary self made goal. Result 0-4. Bruno Zuidema in the 65thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Gio Elders, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After 67 minutes of play, Dynamo Blitz's Joshua Bannatyne made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gio Elders was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Hønefoss BK's Giannis de Vries got a free kick in the 70th minute. With a little luck, Hønefoss BK's Gio Elders got control of the ball when Bruno Zuidema tried to sneak it across the goal line. Bruno Zuidema fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gio Elders having to interfere. A collision led to Hønefoss BK getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Wilco Fransen hit a great ball. Gio Elders made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bruno Zuidema in the 81st minute. Hønefoss BK's Gio Elders proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Hønefoss BK from getting a goal against them. Gio Elders made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bruno Zuidema in the 83rd minute of play. In the 87thth minute of the game Bruno Zuidema who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hønefoss BK's Gio Elders was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Hønefoss BK's defense didn't have a chance, in the 92nd minute, when Bruno Zuidema scored to the left of an out of position Gio Elders, making the score, 0-7. After having played for 95 minutes, Bruno Zuidema managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dynamo Blitz's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bruno Zuidema was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dynamo Blitz's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
