An unexpectedly hard shot by Kurt Roeters in the 54th minute of play forced SC CAMBUUR LEEUWARDEN's goalkeeper Edward Klaassen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Biervliet's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Mathieu Weken in the 56th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marco Langenbach in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rob Kort saved Biervliet from getting behind. Edward Klaassen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomás Moita in the 87th minute of the match. After 88 played minutes SC CAMBUUR LEEUWARDEN got a freekick which was hit by Ernest Timmerman. Tomás Moita struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Edward Klaassen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Biervliet. Kristof de Zaaijer hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match.
