Weijereind S.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hans-Cees Ricksen was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. After having played for 11 minutes, Tomas van Diemen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Albertus FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas van Diemen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thomas Leonidis was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Tomas van Diemen. With a little luck, Weijereind S.C.'s Thomas Leonidis got control of the ball when Jan Knops tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 18th match minute, Weijereind S.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tonnie van Dongen to maneuver through the defense. Hans-Cees Ricksen did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 3-0 to the left of a surprised Thomas Leonidis 19 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arnold Hemmen got free with Thomas Leonidis in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Weijereind S.C.'s Thomas Leonidis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hans-Cees Ricksen in the 27th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hans-Cees Ricksen in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Thomas Leonidis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some careless play in the Weijereind S.C. defense, Warman de Jager kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Thomas Leonidis. The Weijereind S.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Thomas Leonidis should have stopped the shot. The crowd rose to their feet as Albertus FC's Arnold Hemmen slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Thomas Leonidis. That made the score 5-0 after 35 minutes of play. After a rather tough play, Albertus FC's Warman de Jager got a free kick in the 37th minute. In the 39th minute, Hans-Cees Ricksen reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Thomas Leonidis. The goal made the score 6-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Albertus FC's Hans-Cees Ricksen slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Thomas Leonidis. That made the score 7-0 after 45 minutes of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 7-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hans-Cees Ricksen made a kick off. Thomas Leonidis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arnold Hemmen in the 50th minute of the match. In the 51st match minute, Weijereind S.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Richard Kluivert to maneuver through the defense. In the 56thth minute of the game Hans-Cees Ricksen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Weijereind S.C.'s Thomas Leonidis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 68th minute Arnold Hemmen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thomas Leonidis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thomas Leonidis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arnold Hemmen in the 70th minute of the match. Thomas Leonidis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hans-Cees Ricksen in the 73rd minute of play. Thomas Leonidis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arnold Hemmen, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Thomas Leonidis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hans-Cees Ricksen's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. After 80 played minutes, Albertus FC's Tomas van Diemen shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Thomas Leonidis came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Albertus FC reached it. After 81 minutes of play, Albertus FC's Hans-Cees Ricksen made it 9-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Thomas Leonidis was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the match clock showed 87 minutes, the score became 10-0 when Hans-Cees Ricksen sped through Weijereind S.C.'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Thomas Leonidis. 92 minutes into the game, Albertus FC's Warman de Jager nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Thomas Leonidis made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 11-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Albertus FC fully deserved thier win.
