Rob Deiman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Billy Sluis in the 18th minute of play. The referee felt a red card was in order, 20 minutes into the game, when Giovanni Buskermolen put in a rough tackle. After 20 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Zijdewind SC! Zijdewind SC:s Rob Deiman showed great skill when he stopped Antoon Huizing:s penalty. A collision led to Zijdewind SC getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Daniël De Leeuw hit a great ball. Rob Deiman was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Antoon Huizing. Damien Schimmel blasted a shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jos Kinear having to make a save. Ferdi Dekens struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Jos Kinear didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Zijdewind SC. Rob Deiman was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Arjan Ros showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 39 minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

55 minutes into the match, Billy Sluis notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Zijdewind SC's Rob Deiman. Rob Deiman was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Fargo SC's Jonathan Terpstra got a free kick in the 58th minute. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rob Deiman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rogier Kiewit in the 75th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arjen Stolte in the 80th minute of play forced Zijdewind SC's goalkeeper Rob Deiman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rogier Kiewit in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rob Deiman prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 84th minute, Arjen Stolte left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Fargo SC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. Fargo SC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
