Hans Pik showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Codrin Matei, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. 14 minutes into the game, Codrin Matei cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Hans Pik was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Hans Pik made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Codrin Matei in the 17th minute of play. 22 minutes into the match, GALATASARAY's goalkeeper Hans Pik had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Codrin Matei. Codrin Matei didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 4-0 via right post in the game's 24th minute. S.C. Potentia's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! After having played for 29 minutes, Codrin Matei managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. S.C. Potentia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Codrin Matei was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 32nd minute, Ramazan Mirza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In a very dangerous position, a player in GALATASARAY fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 37th minute. Penalty! Christijan Germs kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. In the 43rd minute Codrin Matei shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hans Pik saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Roman Pitin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Hans Pik tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 6-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Gerard Hoogsteen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mathijs Tevreden read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Codrin Matei in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hans Pik saved GALATASARAY from getting behind. Hans Pik stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Codrin Matei's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. GALATASARAY's Hans Pik played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Codrin Matei in the 60th minute of play. 61 minutes into the match, GALATASARAY's goal looked a bit too open when Codrin Matei came free, but Hans Pik reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Codrin Matei hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. 66 minutes into the game, S.C. Potentia's Codrin Matei nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hans Pik made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Codrin Matei in the 69th minute of play forced GALATASARAY's goalkeeper Hans Pik to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Codrin Matei sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Hans Pik took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Codrin Matei, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 77 minutes, Codrin Matei managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. S.C. Roman Pitin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hans Pik took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roman Pitin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hans Pik made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Codrin Matei in the 89th minute of play. Hans Pik showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Codrin Matei in the 91st minute of the match. The supporters of S.C. Potentia booed when GALATASARAY was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hatisa Sahota didn't get a good kick on the ball. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. S.C. Potentia had played much better football throughout.
