Spectators: 8409 (Terracing: 6307, Seating: 1934, VIP seats: 168) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Michel Ellerman got the match started through his kick off. If Maurits van der Bij had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jos Kinear came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by Stevensbeek FC's Anthony Bakhuis. But to his dismay, Anthony Bakhuis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After some careless play in the Fargo SC defense, Michel Ellerman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jos Kinear. The Fargo SC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jos Kinear should have stopped the shot. Bernard Witters struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Jos Kinear didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Stevensbeek FC. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Michel Ellerman in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jos Kinear prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 28 minutes into the match, Fargo SC's goal looked a bit too open when Anthony Bakhuis came free, but Jos Kinear reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 28 played minutes Fargo SC got a freekick which was hit by Ted van As. Anthony Bakhuis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jos Kinear having to interfere. Jos Kinear took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anthony Bakhuis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marcel Steen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jos Kinear came out of the goal in the 45th minute to try and stop a shot by Stevensbeek FC's Michel Ellerman. But to his dismay, Michel Ellerman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Arjan Ros made a kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arjan Ros in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg David van Putten saved Stevensbeek FC from getting behind. Ted van As hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. When Michel Ellerman came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Stevensbeek FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Michel Ellerman couldn't finish the play. 61 minutes into the match, Michel Ellerman dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jos Kinear, 0-6. When Stevensbeek FC's Michel Ellerman in the 66th minute got a chance for a shot 66th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Fargo SC's goalie prevented a goal. Jos Kinear made an important save on a dangerous shot by Michel Ellerman in the 68th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Anthony Bakhuis kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jos Kinear. That made the score 0-7 in the 70 minute of play. Jos Kinear came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by Stevensbeek FC's Anthony Bakhuis. But to his dismay, Anthony Bakhuis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-8. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 80th minute of the game. One of Fargo SC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Stevensbeek FC:s goal. Fargo SC's Jos Kinear played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maurits van der Bij in the 88th minute of play. In the 89th minute, Michel Ellerman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jos Kinear showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maurits van der Bij in the 91st minute of the match. Folkert Kolkman hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. In the 96th minute, Arjan Ros made a precise shot to the right of David van Putten. Stevensbeek FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-9. When the match was over Stevensbeek FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Fargo SC throughout the match.
