In the 11th minute Agostinho Vidal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mario Klompe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sjors Hoekstra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mirko Vervoort having to interfere. Zijdewind SC's Mario Klompe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benjamin Moorlag in the 18th minute of play. Benjamin Moorlag struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Mario Klompe didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mijdrecht Maffia. Mario Klompe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bram Wessel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Geert Arend Jochemsen was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 22 minutes had been played. Mario Klompe made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Juvenal Vaz sent off a good shot on target. In the 29th minute, Mijdrecht Maffia's Agostinho Vidal dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. After 32nd play minutes Agostinho Vidal shot 3-0, a short shot which went by Mario Klompe and just under the crossbar into goal. 36 minutes into the match, Zijdewind SC's goal looked a bit too open when Agostinho Vidal came free, but Mario Klompe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bram Wessel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Bram Wessel who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 41stth minute tested the skills of Mario Klompe when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Juvenal Vaz's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 43rdth minute, Mario Klompe skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After a rather tough play, Zijdewind SC's Nick Boeringe got a free kick in the 43rd minute. In the 44th minute Benjamin Moorlag shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mario Klompe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Agostinho Vidal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Agostinho Vidal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Mario Klompe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Mijdrecht Maffia's Bram Wessel got a free kick in the 62nd minute. After 64 minutes of play, Mijdrecht Maffia's Juvenal Vaz made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mario Klompe was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 67th minute Bram Wessel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mario Klompe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mario Klompe stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Agostinho Vidal's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. Juvenal Vaz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mario Klompe having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Agostinho Vidal's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mario Klompe was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game. Mijdrecht Maffia's Agostinho Vidal got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Agostinho Vidal came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Mijdrecht Maffia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Agostinho Vidal couldn't finish the play. Mario Klompe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teun Moek in the 87th minute of the match. 89 minutes into the match, Agostinho Vidal notched a goal, 8-0, to the right of Zijdewind SC's Mario Klompe. Mario Klompe was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Agostinho Vidal in the 93rd minute of play forced Zijdewind SC's goalkeeper Mario Klompe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jan ter Averst charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jan ter Averst the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Mijdrecht Maffia walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
