Zijdewind SC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sebastiaan Middeljans was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Mario Klompe stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aadam Messi's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. When Sjors Hoekstra came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Zijdewind SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sjors Hoekstra couldn't finish the play. Jan ter Averst could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Knut Kieper made a huge save. Mario Klompe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aadam Messi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 21st minute Aadam Messi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mario Klompe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sebastiaan Middeljans scored 0-6 in the 35th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mario Klompe, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Mario Klompe came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by Boca Juniors's Aadam Messi. But to his dismay, Aadam Messi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-7. Mario Klompe didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sebastiaan Middeljans went, in the 46th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-8 was the resulting score. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-8 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sjors Hoekstra was the one to do the kick off. With his leg Mario Klompe managed to avoid a goal in the 55thth minute, when Boca Juniors's Sebastiaan Middeljans fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 56th match minute, Zijdewind SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nick Boeringe to maneuver through the defense. When Aadam Messi came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Boca Juniors fans jumped to their feet. Pepijn Timmermans hit a great ball. 70 minutes into the match, Zijdewind SC's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastiaan Middeljans came free, but Mario Klompe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 73 minutes into the game, Alberto Valadares recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Mario Klompe. Alberto Valadares showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-11. If Sebastiaan Middeljans had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 87 minutes into the game, Sebastiaan Middeljans cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-13. Mario Klompe was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
