But to his dismay, Arjen Stolte quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 14 minutes into the match, Fargo SC's goal looked a bit too open when Sipke Kroon came free, but Jos Kinear reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ben Oude Kamphuis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arjen Stolte's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mario Klompe read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arjen Stolte in the 23rd minute of play forced Zijdewind SC's goalkeeper Mario Klompe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 24 minutes into the game, one of Zijdewind SC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Mario Klompe had in the 25thth minute some difficulties stopping Antoon Huizing's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After 27 minutes of play, Fargo SC's Arjan Ros made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mario Klompe was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jos Kinear came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by Zijdewind SC's Ben Oude Kamphuis. But to his dismay, Ben Oude Kamphuis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Ben Oude Kamphuis kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Antoon Huizing took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 35th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Mario Klompe. Zijdewind SC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 2-2 became the score in the 38th minute when Ben Oude Kamphuis elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Zijdewind SC's Sipke Kroon got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 43 minutes into the match, Zijdewind SC's goal looked a bit too open when Arjan Ros came free, but Mario Klompe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ben Oude Kamphuis hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. When Fargo SC's Arjan Ros in the 46th minute got a chance for a shot 46th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Zijdewind SC's goalie prevented a goal. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Arjan Ros was the one to do the kick off. Fargo SC's Jos Kinear played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sipke Kroon in the 53rd minute of play. In the 55th minute Folkert Kolkman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mario Klompe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 64th minute Arjen Stolte shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mario Klompe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 68 minutes into the match, Zijdewind SC's goal looked a bit too open when Arjan Ros came free, but Mario Klompe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arjan Ros recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Zijdewind SC's Mario Klompe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arjan Ros in the 75th minute of play. In the 89th minute Sipke Kroon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jos Kinear saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 92 minutes in the game Michael Valentijn did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Arjen Stolte. After 94 played minutes Zijdewind SC got a freekick which was hit by Ben Oude Kamphuis. Zijdewind SC succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Fargo SC had controlled the match.
