In the 7th match minute, Boca Juniors was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pepijn Timmermans to maneuver through the defense. Alberto Valadares's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hans Pik read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 8th minute of play. 9 minutes had been played when some careless play by GALATASARAY's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Sebastiaan Middeljans was slow to take the kick. During this time Boca Juniors's players had a chance to rest. A well-hit corner resulted in Karel Ihselmann heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. 12 minutes into the match, Pepijn Timmermans notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of GALATASARAY's Hans Pik. Hans Pik was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 17 minutes into the match, Boca Juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Jasper van Beukering came free, but Knut Kieper reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 19th minute, Sebastiaan Middeljans ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hans Pik was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Jasper van Beukering fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Knut Kieper having to interfere. 24 minutes in the game, Sebastiaan Middeljans fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Hans Pik having to interfere. Hans Pik made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alwin van der Gun in the 26th minute. When Boca Juniors's Alberto Valadares in the 27th minute got a chance for a shot 27th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye GALATASARAY's goalie prevented a goal. 29 minutes into the game, Alberto Valadares recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Hans Pik. Alberto Valadares showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alwin van der Gun got free with Hans Pik in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 33rd minute, Boca Juniors's Alberto Valadares ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Hans Pik. Hans Pik yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-0. Hans Pik showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aadam Messi, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. 41 minutes into the game, Humberto Roodenburg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. GALATASARAY's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Boca Juniors the free kick. The supporters of Boca Juniors booed when GALATASARAY was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Humberto Roodenburg didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 44th minute, Aadam Messi reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Hans Pik. The goal made the score 6-0.

In the 50th match minute, GALATASARAY was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jasper van Beukering to maneuver through the defense. Hans Pik showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aadam Messi, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. After 57 minutes of play, Boca Juniors's Aadam Messi made it 7-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hans Pik was left in no man's land by his defense there! Hans Pik came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by Boca Juniors's Alwin van der Gun. But to his dismay, Alwin van der Gun quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 10-0. Aadam Messi scored 11-0 in the 70th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hans Pik, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Hans Pik made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Valadares in the 73rd minute of play. Hans Pik didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sebastiaan Middeljans went, in the 74th minute, to the upper right corner, 12-0 was the resulting score. Hans Pik didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Boca Juniors's Sebastiaan Middeljans shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 13-0 in the ordered_time% minute. 81 minutes into the game, Sebastiaan Middeljans cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 14-0. Hans Pik was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 84 minutes into the match, GALATASARAY's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Valadares came free, but Hans Pik reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hans Pik showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sebastiaan Middeljans in the 85th minute of the match. GALATASARAY's Hans Pik played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Petros Moschogiannis in the 88th minute of play. In the 90th match minute, GALATASARAY was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Otto Dijken to maneuver through the defense. In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind GALATASARAY's goalkeeper Hans Pik, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Alberto Valadares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alberto Valadares in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hans Pik prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aadam Messi in the 95th minute of play forced GALATASARAY's goalkeeper Hans Pik to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. There was no doubt that Boca Juniors were the better team. Boca Juniors's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
