Jan Czempa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cafer Baysal, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Through an outstanding action, after 20 minutes, Teobaldo Juvenal successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After 23 played minutes Kluivertmannie got a freekick which was hit by Jochem Diest. In the 32nd minute, Schafelt RKSV's Alfred Heide seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Alfred Heide the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Schafelt RKSV protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Alfred Heide had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 31st minute, one of Schafelt RKSV:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Schafelt RKSV. In the 39th minute Cafer Baysal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan Czempa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 40th minute, Enzo Cassano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal.
