Roelage's Timmie Niekamp played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amerigo Montini in the 15th minute of play. 17 minutes into the match, Amerigo Montini notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Roelage's Timmie Niekamp. Timmie Niekamp was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amerigo Montini in the 35th minute of play forced Roelage's goalkeeper Timmie Niekamp to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Amerigo Montini in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Timmie Niekamp prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Potentia fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. After the first half S.C. Potentia were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
