Spectators: 8415 (Terracing: 6312, Seating: 1935, VIP seats: 168) FC Geitenkamp's Americo Isauro started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. FC Geitenkamp's Alessio De Sanctis got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alessio De Sanctis took the ball and in the 9 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gijsbert Wittendorp. Gijsbert Wittendorp dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Dedé Magalhães took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hans-Cees Okkes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dedé Magalhães made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hans-Cees Okkes in the 19th minute. 20 minutes into the match, FC Yupski's goal looked a bit too open when Alessio De Sanctis came free, but Gijsbert Wittendorp reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfredão Quintal in the 23rd minute of play forced FC Yupski's goalkeeper Gijsbert Wittendorp to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 24 played minutes FC Yupski got a freekick which was hit by Jan Zeegelaar. FC Yupski's Gijsbert Wittendorp played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Americo Isauro in the 29th minute of play. Gijsbert Wittendorp showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfredão Quintal in the 31st minute of the match. The supporters of FC Geitenkamp booed when FC Yupski was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. The referee ignored FC Yupski's protests and gave Jan Zeegelaar a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, FC Yupski's Jan Zeegelaar got a free kick in the 47th minute. The FC Geitenkamp fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. Medo Mandø hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. 76 minutes into the match, FC Yupski's goalkeeper Gijsbert Wittendorp had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Americo Isauro. In the 85th minute, FC Geitenkamp's Alessio De Sanctis dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-5. Alessio De Sanctis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Gijsbert Wittendorp tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. FC Yupski's Gijsbert Wittendorp proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save FC Yupski from getting a goal against them. After 90th play minutes Americo Isauro shot 1-6, a short shot which went by Gijsbert Wittendorp and just under the crossbar into goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Alfredão Quintal kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Gijsbert Wittendorp. That made the score 1-7 in the 94 minute of play. FC Geitenkamp played a much better game than FC Yupski and deserved their victory. The FC Yupski players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
