André Luiz Reis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Berry Hommes in the 10th minute of play. 12 minutes into the game, VC Duisburg 2012's Andy Neeskens nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Carel Kik fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Domenik van Someren having to interfere. In the 80th minute, Snits United Reloaded's Mathias de Boer seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Mathias de Boer the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Snits United Reloaded protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Mathias de Boer had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Snits United Reloaded:s Domenik van Someren showed great skill when he stopped Marco van Nistelrooij:s penalty.
